If
you are an active student and have a credit balance,
excluding temporary credits, you may
be entitled to receive a refund. In fact, approximatley
50% of Penn students receive a refund annually.
Student Financial Services requests
you enroll in direct
deposit to expidite your
refund. You will need to enter your bank account
(checking or savings) information on Penn's secure
website.
In addition, your bank
information will also be used by the
University’s Payroll Office if you are
working at Penn; this would include work-study
jobs and other Penn employment. Sign
up online here.
Accounts must be with a domestic
financial institution (bank or credit union);
accounts in foreign financial institutions are
not eligible. It takes at least two (2) weeks
for the information to become active upon receipt
of your account information. Wachovia Bank is
the University’s Treasury Services
Provider.
