Apply for Financial Aid
Financial Aid Checklist
College of Liberal and Professional Studies
Degree Candidates for the 2016-2017 Academic Year
In order to be considered for Penn need-based financial aid, you must submit all of the following information by the dates listed.
*** If you are intending to apply for only federal and/or state financial assistance, you need only submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the appropriate federal and/or state deadlines.  The FAFSA is used to determine your eligibility for federal and state student financial aid programs.
Please Note
  • Budgets are based on LPS evening tuition rates

  • Living allowances are included in your budget ONLY if you are enrolled in 4 c.u.'s or greater each semester.

  • Financial aid eligibility can vary based on your dependency status.

  • Continued financial aid eligibility is contingent upon satisfactory academic progress.

  • Registration changes can result in tuition adjustments, which can significantly change your financial aid eligibility and delay disbursement of your funds.  Be certain of your course selection when you register.

  • Notification of financial aid eligibility begins in June on a rolling basis. Your eligibility notice will be mailed, or check the Penn Portal.
