It is well known that the cost
of a graduate or professional education today is
a major investment for most students and their
families. The University of Pennsylvania understands
this, and is committed to making a Penn education
accessible for all talented and qualified students.
This section outlines Penn's financial
aid policy and programs, as well as long-term payment
options. If you still have questions after reading
through this information please contact Student
Financial Services and we will be happy to help
you.
Financial Aid
These loans are based on financial need;
students must file a financial aid application to be
considered.
Penn offers several low-cost payment
options that are not based on financial need. Families
can select one progam, or combine several, to meet
their needs. Financial aid applications are not necessary
when applying for these programs (except for the Federal
Stafford Loan).
These
financing options are available from many lenders.
If you select another lender, be sure the fees
and terms are equally favorable.
Outside Scholarships
Penn offers several low-cost payment
options that are not based on financial need. Families
can select one progam, or combine several, to meet
their needs. Financial aid applications are not necessary
when applying for these programs (except for the Federal
Stafford Loan).
